Introducing…

The 6-week course designed to help small businesses to build a brand strategy. This will help you to maximize your time, by communicating with resonating, considered content. Let’s alleviate the overwhelm when it comes to your branding and make strategic decisions that give you more time to work on your business. Let’s get you thinking and behaving like a brand to build trust, loyalty and ultimately better sales.

Elevate your business
into a brand

designed for small businesses that would like a more cohesive and consistent brand that builds trust & loyalty with their customers

there are plenty of ‘templates’ and quick wins online, however MAKER Elevate is an investment in your long term strategy and teaches you valuable brand foundations that can be used again & again as the business grows

the three key steps; Brand Awareness, Brand Definition and Brand Visual Strategy, will help you to be more aware of how to use your brand to its full potential and have more confidence in selling/promoting who you really are a brand

The idea is that you take a step back to really look at your brand as a whole so you can communicate more effectively and resonate better with your ideal customers.

Sound like the kind of know-how support, and step by-step process you need to elevate your brand?

A course designed around you.

This is much more than a course, its an opportunity to reflect on your business and build your brand.

Because I want to make sure it that this course gives you everything you need (and nothing you don’t), your feedback is key to shape the course around your needs.

Hey! I’m Kate

I am a multi-award winning graphic designer and Creative Director of MAKER, specialising in branding and graphic design.

After nearly 8 years in business, I realised there were a lot of businesses out there not using their brand to its full potential. Enter Maker Elevate…

I wanted to be able to help more businesses to thrive by building strong brand foundations to create a more cohesive and consistent brand.

My passion is to help businesses and their brands to thrive, through the graphic design and brand strategy. I created Maker Elevate to help small businesses to take a step back and create a brand themselves that resonates with their ideal customers.

“Kate gets to the heart of how you can create your brand and be consistent, with a no nonsense step-by-step approach, she can demystified the process. If you are thinking about creating or switching up your brand”

FAQs

What if I can’t make it in person?

As much as I would encourage you to come to each lesson live to ask questions in the moment and soak up the buzz of the group, I understand that it is not always possible. Each week the session will be recorded so that you won’t miss a minute. Even if you attend live, it’s good to have the session to look back on when you are completing each week’s tasks.

What is included?

There are 5 weeks of teaching in this course and one implementation week to catch up on everything so you don’t feel like you are falling behind. Each week we will do a live Q&A so that if any questions arise during the week we can chat through them. There are also some sign-up bonuses included in the course if you signed up within a certain timeframe.

What if I get stuck with a task?

Don’t worry, the weekly Q&A calls are here for just that. You can submit your questions in advance and then we can see how everyone is getting on that week.

When does the course start & end?

Each start date of the course is different. Please email sayhello@makerdesign.ie to check the next start date.

What makes MAKER Elevate different?

What makes MAKER Elevate different is where graphic design meets branding strategy. There are plenty of ‘templates’ and quick wins online, however MAKER Elevate is an investment in a long term strategy for small businesses and teaches valuable brand foundations that you can use again & again as the business grows.

What if I am not happy?

This course was designed to transform how you think about your business. Transformation is a process and it needs to be done in step by step ways. If you are unhappy after week 2, please email sayhello@makerdesign.ie and we can discuss it further.

Is this course for designing a logo?

Unfortunately not, this course is about building your brand. Your brand is more than a logo and it runs much deeper. Visual strategy is part of the course but is about your colours, typeface/font presentation and not designing your logo. MAKER offers a high-end branding service to create your businesses brand identity if this was something you were interested in pursuing.

I’m a little busy in my business right now… should I wait until next time to join you?

There’s no time like the present to work on your business. I find we will always prioritise what is important and if you want to work on your branding then now is the time. Don’t forget that the course won’t be sold at this price again, it is one time only price.

Can this be for more established businesses as well as start ups?

Yes, this course can benefit businesses both starting out and more established, because your brand is a continous work in progress and should be reviewed again & again. Sometimes businesses can grow fast and branding can take a back foot, so now is the time to take a deeper look.

How are the lessons delivered?

The lessons are delivered through Zoom, unless a specific event has been facilitated to it be in person.

What happens after I enroll?

Woohoo! I am delighted to hear that you are ready to elevate your brand! As soon as you join MAKER Elevate you’ll be taken to a checkout page where you can input in your details. After this, I will send you an email (within 24hrs) sending you more details about the course and how we will begin.

I have another question…

Great! You can email me at sayhello@makerdesign.ie and I will aim to get back to you within 24hrs.

While creating MAKER Elevate I ran a series of mini workshops to develop the course further, here is what my lovely students had to say

“It’s been an absolute pleasure to learn from someone so passionate and knowledgeable about design and branding. I’ve got so much out of this session. I now have pages of notes and ideas to implement for my own brand!”

Anna Kozielska
Anya Design Studio

“The workshop has given me all the tips and tools to work with my brand, analyse what I have done so far and think of all the improvements that could be implemented”

You are not willing to step back and take an honest view at your business.

I can’t think of any more reasons why you shouldn’t join this course.

On the other hand, Maker Elevate IS right for you if:
